Fall Optional for Seniors
Starting in Fall 2020, New Mexico will administer a state-funded, SAT School Day with Essay as part of the accountability system. This exam aligns to academic standards, and reflects skills and knowledge already taught in the classroom by measuring math, reading, and writing. The Fall test administration is for seniors only (grade 12). It is optional and paper based only.

Spring 2021 ESSA Required Assessment for High School
In Spring 2021, students in grade 11 will take the SAT School Day with Essay. Additionally, all students in grade 10 will take the PSAT 10.
