State Ambassadors are asked to commit to regular monthly meetings, both virtual and in-person, and meetings as needed with PED leadership and staff. The purpose of the convenings is to collaborate with educators across the state, learn about PED areas of focus, build leadership skills through meaningful professional learning opportunities, and develop a community of support.
Teachers selected will act as ambassadors of the profession with the mission of uplifting educators and the work of teaching. Ambassadors will meet a set number of participation action items in order to receive a stipend upon the successful completion of this program. The commitment for an Ambassador is one full academic year.
