      Just a reminder that you have registered to attend Psychological First Aid Training for Teachers and Staff, provided by the University of Colorado’s Institute of Behavioral Science and cohosted by the Albuquerque Public Schools and the NM Public Education Department’s Safe Schools Program.  Due to the large class size, please arrive early enough to sign-in and find a seat so we may begin promptly.

       Location: APS Food and Nutrition Services Building, 800 Louisiana Blvd., NM, Albuquerque, NM

      Parking:  Plenty of parking from the parking lot; building entrance on North side

      Registration:  8:15-8:45am

      Class:  9:00-11:00am

      We are working with the NMDOH to arrange for CEUs to be provided for nurses (2.2 CEUs) and social workers (2.0 CEUs).

      This is a training on Wellness Policy and Safe Schools Plans requirements and implementation targeted to those schools whose policies and plans are due for review in SY 2018-2019. A presentation will be in the morning, followed by technical assistance in the afternoon.
