The initial planning allocation table for Fund 24190 has been posted to the NMPED Webpage and can be found here. Emails were sent to districts on May 29-30, 2024 with application information for schools  schools who have a designation of More Rigorous Interventions, Graduation Rate as identified in the April NM Vistas Release.

This is the first year of three years of funding. Continued funding is dependent on the school/s completing all school improvement requirements, to include three School Improvement and Transformation Monitoring (SIT-M) visits 2024-2025.

  1. The LEA must apply for these funds on behalf of the school, the school will complete a small portion of the application to include the NM School DASH.

  2. Applications are due no later than Friday, August 16, 2024, and were linked in the emails sent.

  3. Requests for Reimbursements will not be approved until all required components of the application have been completed, reviewed, and approved by PED.

    1. Please ensure to review the allowable and non-allowable expenses on pages 3-7 of the Title I Non-Competitive Supplemental School Improvement Grant Application FY24 Guidance

  4. If applications are ready for review and approval prior to August 16, 2024, please email your LEA point of contact, found on pages 9-10 of the Title I Non-Competitive Supplemental School Improvement Grant Guidance, Monitoring, and Application 2024. Requests for Reimbursement will not be approved until all components of the application have been completed and approved.

  5. If the school has carryover funds from the Initial Implementation Funds these are to be rolled into the new allocation.

  6. For schools that received Initial Implementation Funds, have carryover, and did not receive additional grant funding, updates to the workbook in their individual school folders must be updated to reflect expenditures for reimbursement.

  7. We encourage LEA and School leaders to review the Title I Non-Competitive Grant Application FAQ June 2024.
