School Innovation and Improvement
The New Mexico Public Education Departments champions schools, districts and community organizations to use innovative approaches to improve student outcomes. The NM Differentiated System of Support supports districts and schools to increase student outcomes and achievement by changing the behaviors of adults. This includes regional support for identified schools and oversight of school improvement and implementation grants. This system utilizes the NM School DASH as a framework to support the development and implementation of focused goals and strategic plans looking at both student academic and non-academic needs.
