Teacher or Other Instructional Staff
If your district or charter uses Canvas for daily instruction, please reach out to your IT department or instructional technology coordinator to understand how to log into your account. Each school or district may have its own system and specific login requirements.
Canvas is also used for the statewide teacher evaluation program Elevate NM, and your district or charter should have provided information about how to log into your current Elevate NM school course. However, if you need assistance with your PED NM Canvas account for Elevate NM, please contact the Elevate NM Course Manager in your district or charter. Or, if you need to update your existing account information, like a name change, moving districts, or creating a Canvas account, please fill out this form.
Start with the NM Canvas Catalog if you are looking for Professional Learning Courses. If you have used Catalog before at the NMPED, the login and password information should be the same as your current Canvas account.
If teachers at your school use Canvas, we recommend contacting them directly for account/password information and any other technical issues you may be experiencing.
