CTE Corner: May Newsletter

This edition celebrates recent student victories and covers some exciting opportunities in the coming months for educators and students alike.

Please take a moment to explore the current edition’s exciting stories and content:

  • Deming High School media CTE students were the grand prize winners in the inaugural 2022 Film Prize Jr New Mexico Competition.
  • The 2022-23 school year is the Year of Math! and the CCRB’s Careers2Communities program has FREE, career-connected learning resources.
  • Class of 2023 students are now eligible to win $500 and $40,000 scholarships they can use at two- or four-year institutions just by planning for college.
  • Ignite Creativity: Adobe and New Mexico Public Education Department educators prepare students for success and develop 21st-century skills like digital literacy, creativity, and critical thinking.
