Mission Statement:

The mission of the PED Administrative Prosecution Bureau is to provide legal advice and representation to the PED’s Educator Quality Division in administrative licensure proceedings and to enforcement minimum standards of educator quality in the classroom and at school.

Investigations Bureau

About:

The role of the Public Education Department’s Investigations Bureau is to gather the facts in a thorough and unbiased manner about complaints of misconduct alleged to have been committed by a school district personnel, a school employee, a school volunteer, or a contractor/contractor’s employee.

 

Mission Statement:

The mission of the PED Investigations Bureau is to help ensure a secure learning environment through integrity, compassion, and accountability so New Mexico’s students, teachers, and educational community feel valued and respected.
