Effective May 2020: All fees will be paid online via credit card (Visa/MC/Discover) after online application submission has been finalized. Professional Licensure Bureau – NMPED Licensure System (state.nm.us)

ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESSING FEES 

      • Initial and Renewal Support Provider License – $50
        • Substitute Teachers, Educational Assistant, School Health Assistant, and Native Language/Cultural Certificate
      • Initial and Renewal Athletic Coach and Attendance Coach Licenses – $35
      • Initial Teacher and Instructional Support Provider Licenses – $150 
      • Renewal Teacher and Instructional Support Provider Licenses – $120 
        • Teachers [same level] and Instructional Support Providers

NOTE: If you are renewing a level 2 or 3 expired license (expired for more than a year), you will be required to submit a New (Initial) Online Application, meet current licensure requirements and submit a $150 processing fee

      • Initial Administrator License – $150
      • Renewal Administrator license – $130
      • Adding an Endorsement(s) to a Teaching License – $120

(Two or more applications may be submitted for the price of one. The higher application fee will be due.)

DOSSIER/ OPAL FEE SCHEDULE

Teacher Licensure Advancement through the Professional Development Dossier (PDD) or Online Portfolio for Alternative Licensure (OPAL)

Professional Licensure Bureau – NMPED Licensure System (state.nm.us)

      •  Initial Submission Fee – $320
      • 1 Strand Resubmission – $110
      • 2 Strand Resubmission – $220
      • 3 Strand Resubmission – $320

 


CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK FEE THROUGH GEMALTO

      • Background check through Cogent – $44

All processing fees submitted are non-refundable
