The purpose of the stakeholder meeting is for the Agency to provide an overview of the changes to the current rule and answer any questions. The Agency requests that stakeholders submit any substantive comments concerning the rule change in writing to rule.feedback@state.nm.us for inclusion in the rule hearing record.

A public hearing on the proposed repeal and replacement will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (MDT). Individuals with disabilities who require the above information in an alternative format or need any form of auxiliary aid to attend or participate in the public hearing are asked to contact John Sena at (505) 570-7816 as soon as possible before the date set for the public hearing.  The PED requires at least 10 calendar days advance notice to provide any special accommodations requested.

EXPIRATION

The New Mexico Public Education Department gives notice that, pursuant to Paragraph E of Section 14-4-5.6 NMSA 1978 of the State Rules Act, the emergency rule 6.30.12 NMAC – K-5 Plus Program, filed and effective as of June 14, 2019, shall expire by operation of law on December 11, 2019.
